IR 9.0 Deadline for Conference Papers
Some of you intrepid online explorers will have found that the deadline for the submission of papers to the conference is to be found on the CfP. For the rest of you please note that the deadline for full papers is 31 July. The papers, once submitted, will be indexed and available as part of the open archive, via OCS. Please submit papers in PDF with simple formatting, using sans serif font and in-text referencing. Brian -- Brian D. I have a similar question, but one which is specific to roundtables. Roundtables, in general, serve a specific function that is different from panels featuring speakers who each take a turn in presenting a paper. Roundtables are supposed to be based in more spontaneous dialogue among participants and audience members. Per usual, we didn't submit a roundtable with discrete paper titles. Rather, we're all speaking to a singe topic/issue which is the title of the roundtable. It seems kind of unusual to prepare a full paper for a roundtable. Are the participants now meant to each offer a specific paper title and full paper? If so, that would seem to reconfigure roundtables into panels. Hi Brian, I thought the deadline for submitting full papers was originally announced: Aug 31? End of August may be easier than right in the middle of the summer...yes please :-) ??? regards, Elfi ________________________________ Von: air-l-bounces@listserv.aoir.org im Auftrag von McLaughlin, Lisa M. Hello, Have any online explorers (intrepid or otherwise) found a word/page-count limit for full papers? Thanks, Daniel. Daniel Cunliffe University of Glamorgan On Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 4:27 AM, <bl506@york.ac.uk> wrote:

-- Brian D. Loader,
Nobody got that far! Thanks to everyone who mailed for the prompt. Word limit for papers 5-7,000 words max. For panels and roundtables a 500 word abstract for each contributor, collated by the panel proposer. Brian On Apr 14 2008, Cunliffe D J (AT) wrote:
