INFORMATICS Faculty Position Available Lawrence Technological University Lawrence Technological University, Southfield, Michigan is inviting applications for a full-time faculty position in informatics to begin in the Fall 2009. The faculty member will be primarily responsible for developing the program, teaching on-site and online in the field of informatics and assisting in the administrative leadership of the program. Other duties include scholarly productivity in the form of publications and receipt of external funding as well as service to the department, university and local and state communities. Duties will also include student advising and mentoring, and committee services at department, college, and university levels. Candidates for the position must meet the following requirements: . A Ph.D. with additional relevant training/experience in informatics related fields . Teaching experience (on site and on-line) in a higher education environment commensurate with rank. .
