Internet fatigue, digital gardening, DIY digital expression
Hi all, I am working on a report about the related phenomena of internet burnout and "digital gardening <https://www.technologyreview.com/2020/09/03/1007716/digital-gardens-let-you-cultivate-your-own-little-bit-of-the-internet/>." This report discusses web users' desire for greater control over the display of social media content -- e.g. the design affordances of Tumblr as opposed to Facebook -- as it connects to digital fatigue / boredom with mainstream platforms. I'm hoping to interview one or two researchers working on these topics. Note that this is not for an academic publication, but your name and bio will be included along with links to relevant publications. Please let me know if you're interested. Thank you in advance.
