If you’re looking for tools that do not require any programming, I’d take a look at Gephi (or Cytoscape). While they’re normally known as visualization programs, given a list of edges, they will both run a number of basic analyses. Are you looking for analyses that you can simply run on a forum or do you already have the to/from list of edges? Ideally, how programming heavy can the tool be? Besides tools that are entirely programmatic (e.g. iGraph, NetworkX) there are some middle ground tools that will run a analysis from the command line, but only require you to enter in the proper command. Social network analysis can mean a lot of things. What types of things are you interested in knowing? Benjamin
