Hi all, I'm wondering whether others would support separated AoIR lists for (1) job adverts, (2) calls for submissions (papers, conferences, special issues etc.) and (3) all other business. Much of what goes out on this list is job adverts, which was great when I was on the job market, but personally, given how active this list is, I'd love to be able to opt in or out of these categories of materials more selectively. I'd be interested to hear how much support there was from other members for this idea. -- Gillian Bolsover Lecturer in Politics and Media School of Politics and International Studies University of Leeds Support the technologies of the future you want; end-to-end encrypt your emails. Hi Gillian, I believe it is easy to do so within your email program/browser by creating different folders and sorting out incoming Air-emails by keywords, gir instanse. You could also apply different rules, labels and filters according your personal preferences. Alla R. On 17:43, Mon, Sep 17, 2018 Gillian Bolsover <gillian.bolsover@oii.ox.ac.uk> wrote:

I think it is nice to have the mixture. Even if we are not personally on the job market we often have students, friends, or colleagues who are looking. As Alla wrote, within your own email program you can add filters if you don’t want to see certain topics. I would personally lean toward Gillian's suggestion as I think it best matches how I sort things, but I don't have a particularly strong opinion. On Mon, Sep 17, 2018 at 12:14 PM Shillair, Ruth Jay <shillai7@msu.edu> wrote:
