ABOUT THE WORKSHOP ---------------------------------- To make the social and human factors of software engineering more explicit, the Workshop "Human and social factors of software engineering" focuses on the human communication and the social environment of software developers. Including and combining approaches of software engineering with social science, the workshop will systematize the relevant factors. The workshop looks at software engineering from a perspective of agile methods and communication theory in order to point out solutions and conditions for human-centred software engineering processes. The workshop aims to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to discuss the latest developments in the areas of social science, knowledge engineering and software engineering approaches. The workshop originated in order to provide a forum in which the latest developments in the field of human centered software engineering could be discussed.

PAPER SUBMISSION ---------------------------- We accept position papers (maximum 3 pages) or full papers (maximum 7 pages) describing on-going or finished research. The papers must be in ACM 2-column format (see http://www.cs.wustl.edu/icse05/Submissions/PaperFormat.shtml). Papers need to be submitted online as PDF (see http://www.cs.wustl.edu/icse05/Submissions/Submissions.shtml).
PROCEEDINGS -------------------- The proceedings will be published in the ACM digital library.
