I need a couple of senior academics familiar with education and distributed computing and with ethical approaches to research to help with The Metaversity. I discuss the Metaversity in the chapter of my PhD 'The Internet in Culture' that examined 'new institutional formats for open learning and e publishing' and also in the chapter that discusses semantics as knowledge navigation for meaningful content, and also in my as yet unpublished book Digital Cultures: locations of production, networks of distribution, contexts of reception. I do not refer to The Metaversity in my forthcoming'The Unmarked Grave of History from the Unmade Bed of Culture: some thoughts on the tragedy of the commons/tragedy of capital.'

Great to see further empirical evidence of learning occuring in distributed computing (see below). I think we all learnt a very great deal, those of us in the AIR-list and those in the broader academic community who may not have been familiar with scholarship in online formats. It's great that you learnt so much from Lachlan, and I can assure you I learnt an awful lot too. I particularly enjoyed 'Lachlan and Free Speech".
