so... is there a gathering planned for NCA?
or should we plan on one? I think there will be a good number of people available to meet up some evening. jeremy hunsinger Information Ethics Fellow, Center for Information Policy Research, School of Information Studies, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (www.cipr.uwm.edu) () ascii ribbon campaign - against html mail /\ - against microsoft attachments http://www.aoir.org The Association of Internet Researchers http://www.stswiki.org/ stswiki http://cfp.learning-inquiry.info/ LI-the journal http://transdisciplinarystudies.tmttlt.com/ Transdisciplinary Studies:the book series
Let's plan on one. There's a session titled "Lives On-Line: New work in critical cyberstudies" on Friday (Nov 16) from 5pm to 6:15pm that I'm chairing. It's at the Palmer House (Salon 6). There's a fine pub, the Elephant & Castle, near the Palmer House (the pub is at 111 W. Adams, about a 10 minute walk, one block south and two blocks west), that would make for a nice meeting place. Perhaps a 6:30pm gathering at the E&C? I'm open to other days, times and options, this is just to get the ball rolling, and to suit my schedule and taste. :-) Sj On Oct 31, 2007, at 1:01 PM, Jeremy Hunsinger wrote:
