Dear Colleague - The Digital Government Society invites e-government researchers and government practitioners to submit proposals for panel discussions on topics of your choice at the 19th Annual International Conference on Digital Government Research in 2018. The conference takes place from May 30 - June 1, 2018 and is sponsored by Delft University of Technology in Delft, the Netherlands. This year's conference theme is "Governance in the Data Age." Panel proposals addressing a wide variety of topics are welcome, including (but not limited to): big data; social media; open government and open data; citizen participation and engagement; artificial intelligence in the public sector; policy informatics; data analytics; smart technologies at all levels of government; issues of equity related to digital government and technology use; crisis and disaster response; blockchain technology; and the sharing economy and the public sector. Proposals for panels should be 2-4 pages long and include: information about the theme and goals of the panel, a summary of the digital government issues or questions that the panel will address, statements about the value of the discussion to conference attendees, and how well suited the topic is to a panel discussion. In addition, the proposal should include information about the expertise of the moderator and panelists in the selected issues. Please include names, institutional affiliations, addresses, email, and phone contact numbers of the contact person, moderator, and presenter(s). The submission deadline is January 15, 2018.
