The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching quantitative methods communication courses at the graduate and undergraduate level as well as directing graduate student theses. Preferred candidates will exhibit a strong record of, or the potential for, publication and teaching in two or more of the following communication areas: health, intercultural, instructional, nonverbal, organizational, persuasion, or relational communication. Interest in pursuing grants and research funding is desirable. Salary is competitive and based on experience. Candidates should possess a demonstrated commitment to excellence in both teaching and research. A Ph.D. is required for appointment at the Assistant Professor level; a doctorate in communication is preferred (related degrees or areas of study considered).
