Displaying All YouTube Comments?
Hello all, Is anyone aware of how to display all pages/comments a video has received on YouTube at the same time (instead of clicking on "Show More" to load additional comments)? I want to use a web tool to analyze the comments, but need all comments visible simultaneously. Hi Claudia, NCapture which comes with QSR NVivo (www.qsrinternational.com) will capture YouTube comments without having to press more. I just did a test and got 260 out of 264 comments. NCapture is an add-on to your browser and just clicking the NCapture button will capture the video and the comments. You can then use NVivo to analyse the comments. But NCapture never gets all comments. I used NCapture and Nvivo on my research and you never know the criteria of the comment collect. For example: in a video with over 4k comments, NCapture collected 1.064; in another video with 2,5k comments, the tool got 1k. In the help page says that NCapture collects all comments available on YouTube, but I tried Netlytic in the same 4k comments video and it collects 2,5k. I end it up using NCapture 'cause I worked with the comments of a whole playlist and NVivo makes your life easier to analyze that much data (and with a set for analytic tools to cross data of the video and comments that are golden).
