Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer in Digital Media National University of Ireland Maynooth Centre for Media Studies Applications are invited for a 3-year, full-time post of Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer in Digital Media, to teach within the BA/BSc Multimedia (soon to be relaunched as BA Digital Media) at the National University of Ireland Maynooth. This developing programme requires a Lecturer to provide expertise associated with programming and scripting languages used in media production contexts, and theoretical perspectives on technology and digital media/arts. The post will be located in the Centre for Media Studies, within the School of English, Media and Theatre Studies, but will also involve some work within the Department of Computer Science. Applicants should ideally have undergraduate qualifications in either Media Arts/Multimedia or Computer Science, with a postgraduate qualification in Media Arts/Multimedia, or other related area.
