This year, the “Internet Freedom: Present and Future” theme will promote exchange and collaboration between the scholarly and practitioner communities. In preparing their submissions, researchers should consider the following provocations: - What should practitioners from the various sectors represented at the Festival know from the scholarly literature? - What is the canon of Internet Freedom literature? In what ways is the canon being contested? - What is the cutting edge of scholarly research in this field? - How can this information best be conveyed to lay audiences? Proposals can structured as solo presentations of original research, critical literature reviews, panel discussions, roundtables, debates, or any other format suitable to sharing scholarly research with Internet Freedom practitioners.
