We have planned three exciting workshops, which will be given by Prof. Ho-Fung Hung (Johns Hopkins U), Prof. Paul Chang (Harvard), and Prof. Swen Hutter (Free U of Berlin) in late February, March and April respectively. Wiesenfeld Professor in Political Economy in the Department of Sociology and the Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at the Johns Hopkins University. He researches global capitalist transformation, nationalism, social movements, and Chinese development. He is the author of the *Protest with Chinese Characteristics* (2011) and *The China Boom: Why China Will Not Rule the World* (2015), both with Columbia University Press. His works appear in *Review of International Political Economy, Development and Change*, *Annual Review of Sociology*, *American Sociological Review*, *American Journal of Sociology*, and others.
