A reporter called me today for an interview and told me that next week is the 10th anniversary of Google. (Either Sept 5 or 7 -- he wasn't sure). Now you know. According to the most recent version of its Wikipedia article, Google was first incorporated on September 7, 1998. (http://en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/Google#History) The official articles of incorporation provided at google.com are for a more recent re-incorporation from 2004. of course, once you view some of their other scanned texts... this is not uncommon, nor really even anomalous.
