How do medical professionals perceive the Internet interactions of patients?
Dear colleagues
I am a PhD student in Media and Communications Department at London School of Economics.
I focus on how psychiatrists perceive the Internet interactions of patients. I am conducting my literature review, however, I couldn't find any directly related academic article to my research subject. Therefore, I decided to conduct a wider literature review focusing on how medical professionals in general perceive the Internet interactions of patients.
Can you please recommend me some academic articles, book chapters..etc. related to my research subject?

I remember Jennifer Malkowski from Colorado-Boulder was doing a presentation during NCA 2012 on "Improvising the Future of Medicine: Improving Health Care through Communication Theory." Hi Doga, I would try searching the social and cultural geographic literature on health and disability, as well as sociology as you will probably find some references.
