Dear colleges, We are about to begin a research project after summer where pupils can use twitter while they are taught orally in classrooms. In that relation we would like to know if there are developed any tests to get insight into abilities for multiplexing. Thank you Jesper Jesper Tække Associate Professor, PhD Information and Media Studies Aarhus University http://www.jespertaekke.dk imvjet@hum.au.dk
Okay, I see the definition of what 'multiplexing' is, is not global, We have it from by CHRISTOPHER FAHEY and TIMOTHY MEANEY who defines it in http://www.alistapart.com/articles/conversation-is-the-new-attention/ like: 'Its not multitasking to take notes or have a conversation with your colleagues during a presentationas long as youre talking about the topic at hand. Some call this multiplexing, where overlapping tasks are closely related to each other, and even complementary. Attention is not lost in multiplexingin fact, it is multiplied.'
