This latest edition of our flagship cloudwork report evaluates 16 digital labour platforms, assessing them against five principles of fair work: pay, conditions, contracts, management, and representation. The report highlights both progress and persistent gaps in how platforms treat the global, often invisible workforce powering the digital economy. Despite powering AI and online content and services, many cloudworkers remain underpaid, precariously employed, and excluded from basic rights.
