Fellowship opportunities with Ranking Digital Rights
Greetings, Ranking Digital Rights is recruiting graduate students and seasoned researchers with background in computer science, engineering, Internet and telecommunications law, communication studies (other relevant field) for fellowship opportunities in 2016. Fellows must be committed to advancing respect for digital rights worldwide and have prior academic research experience or professional work related to freedom of expression, censorship, privacy, and surveillance in the ICT sector. Speaking from personal experience, I have found working with RDR to be a terrific complement to PhD coursework, providing me with a much richer understanding of technology policy and Internet governance than graduate school alone would have. I would be delighted to speak with anyone on this list about the project. Please see https://rankingdigitalrights.org/2016/02/16/fellowship-opportunities-with-rd... for more information.
