Registration is now open for COSIGN 2002, the Second International Conference on Computational Semiotics for Games and New Media, which will be held at the University of Augsburg (Augsburg , Germany) on the 2nd - 4th September, 2002. As with last year's event, COSIGN provides a dynamic mix of accademic papers and artistic presentations and allocates enough time for vital and vibrant discussions. Innovative in both content and presentation, this cross-disciplinary conference explores the ways in which semiotics (and related theories such as structuralism and post-structuralism) can be applied to creating and analysing computer systems.
