Dear colleagues, We are delighted to announce the launch of Cambridge Elements in Digital Asia, a new book series with Cambridge University Press. The series provides a dedicated platform for de-Westernized and internationalized perspectives on how digital technologies and communication are reshaping economies, politics, societies, and cultures across Asia and beyond. We publish concise, theoretically and empirically engaged volumes of 20,000–30,000 words addressing emerging topics and debates at national, regional, and transnational levels. We welcome proposals on a broad range of topics, including digital and AI governance, digital economies and labour, activism and politics, digital and AI cultures, information and trust, transnationalism and diaspora, and emerging technologies and society. If you are interested in pitching a project, please send an approximately 500-word abstract outlining the topic, case studies, central argument, and methodology, together with a short author biography (approximately 150 words) to either of the series editors: * Florian Schneider, Leiden University: f.a.schneider@hum.leidenuniv.nl<mailto:f.a.schneider@hum.leidenuniv.nl> * Jian Xu, Deakin University: j.xu@deakin.edu.au<mailto:j.xu@deakin.edu.au> Please feel free to circulate this call to colleagues who may be interested. We look forward to hearing from you. Best wishes, Florian Schneider & Jian Xu Series Editors, Cambridge Elements in Digital Asia<https://www.cambridge.org/core/publications/elements/elements-in-digital-asia>
