[Air-l] Meta lurking

I wonder if one is lurking in THIS discussion... Am I a meta-lurker? There is also the oft-used admonition "Lurk more!" when someone is perceived to (a) be new and (b) have committed a perceived mistake that could have been prevented if he or she had simply paid more attention to norms, expectations, and history I wonder if a discussion among his group will really have any effect of the millions of lists in which lurkers are referred to by that name.
