Dear Friends & Colleagues, I thought some of you might find of interest my comments on the incredibly important new proposals by the UK's Home Office which will shut down and criminalize investigative journalism on national security and remove the public interest defence for whistleblowers and leakers as well as journalists who share what they expose. This will end journalism as we know it in the UK. I sincerely believe it will be counter-productive in respect to these radicalization issues too and has important lessons for other nations trying to respond.
