hi Not exactly what you want but: at the Berlin Institute for Internet and Society launch they had a number of things - everyone filled out an ID page on a website with research interests etc, they handed over to you cards with scannable codes on registration and when you wanted to speak during a session someone would come over with a smart phone, scan your card and your info would be projected onto a screen. They had other participatory things too, check out their website. HTH, cheers Mathieu ________________________________________ From: air-l-bounces@listserv.aoir.org [air-l-bounces@listserv.aoir.org] on behalf of jose marichal [marichal@callutheran.edu] Sent: Thursday, November 28, 2013 10:56 To: air-l@listserv.aoir.org Subject: [Air-L] Use of Social Media Tools at an Academic Conference Colleagues, I've been asked to come up with ideas on innovative and useful ways to incorporate social media tools into an upcoming academic conference in the social sciences. Have any of you come across some particularly useful integrations of social media/web tool at academic conferences.
