Dear colleagues, I wanted to share with you a book that I have just published in Cuba together with two co-authors about Generative AI, with the support of the institute where I work, the Juan Marinello Cuban Cultural Research Institute. In the book, I rely on the concept of social appropriation of technology to promote an ethical, reliable, robust, and sovereign use of the IA. Although it is in Spanish (and I apologize for that), it may be of interest to those with curiosity about how generative AI is being approached from the island, and a little more from the Global South. I also believe that Spanish-speaking researchers who are members of this list may find it interesting. The book is available for free download.
