Dear colleagues, I want to share with you the English version of a short article published in a Cuban cultural magazine, written in collaboration with Denise Ocampo, on the challenges of tools like ChatGPT and Claude in university education. The main thesis is that generative AI gives us new opportunities to promote critical thinking in our students. The article was written with readers from the Global South in mind.
