Registration is now open for the Arab Women, Media, and Sexuality conference, to take place in York on May 26th, 2012. This international conference is hosted and organised by the Centre for Women’s Studies at the University of York/UK. It investigates the interdisciplinary study of sexuality, media, and gender from an Arab perspective and the intersection between all three. The AWMS conference aims to provide grounds for discussion and analysis of these three disciplines and to encourage debate, research and networking in these fields. A few delegates will be offering papers through long-distance conferencing. The event itself will be hosted in the Berrick Saul Building in the University of York campus, in the UK.
