Most lists with archives are mined for email addresses... IMHO we should remove all personal email addresses off this list or display our addresses like this: meREMOVETHIS@mydomain.com That way an intelligent human will know to send the email to me@mydomain.com and a SPAM bot will find an email address that will get an auto response for a bad address. Just looking at the last digest I received [Air-l digest, Vol 1 #276] there were easily over a dozen personal emails 'for harvesting'... we should not make the SPAMmers job so easy!!! Subject: [Air-l] Air-L list or archive raided for e-mail addresses by spammer?!

Hi all,
The other day I received a spam mail, the headers of which you can find below.
It was send to the non-existant username <air-l> at my domain. I received the same spam message also at the account I normally use for mailing lists.
This leads me to conclude that either the list itself or the archives of the list have been pilfered by a spammer.
