Dear Charles, so far, I only researched Telegram, never used it for organizing a group myself. It works different than FB, but maybe could be an option. Fine grained privacy control, storage for hosting files, simple interface for all kinds of devices. Bots can help to get a decent comment system. Sure, it is a bit peculiar. Yes, I have some realization that, to put it in Montanan, there ain't nothin' pure, especially in the online world. But there are greater and lesser degrees of entangelement, and these may be relevant to the project I have in mind.
