Hi all, I'm working on a paper that looks at comments on online news sites and Facebook groups, reading them as examples of 'public opinion' or 'popular discourse' around victims of sexual assault. The bulk of the article draws on theories of 'victim-attribution' from psychology & criminology - but I'd like to acknowledge the specific sites I'm working in. If any listmembers can suggest some books or articles that discuss online comments as reflections of popular opinion, or public debate, I'd be very grateful.
