Still waiting to find out if friends and family are OK - mobile phone networks and public transport all out in the south of the UK - bad day here.

Very, very sorry to hear, Kate - While I don't have any authority to speak for the AoIR community, I think you can be assured that our thoughts (and, for some of us, prayers) are with you, your family and friends. I know there's some consolation on my side in at least being able to stay in touch through this - and I hope that the same holds true on your side. Please do keep us posted as you can.
