"Pathways to Cosmopolitanism" Funded PhD Studentship - starting January 2011 The "Pathways to Cosmopolitanism" research initiative welcomes proposals from outstanding candidates to participate in a research programme that examines the ways in which people, cultures, and places become cosmopolitan. Student doctoral preparation will be based at the University of Manchester but research or write-up will be co-supervised by faculty at the National University of Singapore. The deadline for applications is Friday 12 November 2010. Interviews will be held week commencing 6 December.
