I wrote a very brief piece in a Norwegian newspaper about the new AoIR ethics guidelines. This is for a weekly column they have on the latest news in research, where researchers from different fields take turns to describe something new in their field. I’m not sure how many people actually read this, but I do quite like seeing AoIR and research ethics discussions in a newspaper. Obviously, with a 3500 character limit and a popular readership, it’s an extremely simplified discussion, but here it is: https://morgenbladet.no/aktuelt/2019/09/forskernes-gullgruve-har-etiske-prob... The Google translate isn’t too bad if you don’t read Norwegian: https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=&sl=no&tl=en&u=https%3A%2F%2Fmorge... Thanks to the ethics committee for all the work on this important topic!
