*Positions *is a new podcast hosted by *Lateral*, the peer-reviewed, open access journal for the Cultural Studies Association (US). We launched our first episode in June with plans for 4 episodes a year. The podcast aims to bring topics of conversation in cultural studies to a wider audience and will include as well a form of post-publication peer review through an invited respondent and a moderated forum hosted on the *Lateral *website. The podcast itself is also available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Our first episode is entitled "For the Moment, I am not Scrolling,"--a conversation with Adi Kuntsman and Esperanza Miyake, in which we discuss their recent book, *Paradoxes of Digital Disengagement *(Westminster 2022). The episode is co-hosted by Andrew Culp and Claudia Skinner. Tero Karppi provided a response piece entitled, "The Misunderstanding(s) of Disconnection Studies."
