[Air-l] Weak ties

I have no idea to whom and how to respond to this listing that came up on my google search. However, I do want to call attention to Manuel Castell's 2001 book, THE INTERNET GALAXY. He has lots of things to say about weak ties that I think are very relevant. I use Granovetter's concept in my research on mentoring relationships.
