Jared, I second Sarah's recommendation of otter.ai. It costs only $5.00/month for an academic <https://otter.ai/pricing>, and that gets you 6000 minutes (!) of transcription per month, I believe. If you have multiple voices on the recording, Otter does a nice job of figuring out who is talking based upon speech inflections, and once it learns those speech patterns, can more or less accurately provide a transcript that correctly identifies each speaker in your recording. They also have a plugin for Zoom, I believe, that sends all Zoom recordings to Otter for transcription. Hope this helps, John On Mon, Jan 25, 2021 at 12:28 PM Jared M. Hello,
Can anyone recommend a good automated transcription software/platform for Zoom recordings?
Free/Open Source Software would be ideal, but I will use a paid service if necessary. I would hire some grad students but I currently don't have funds for this project.
Thanks in advance!
Best, Jared
