Hi all, This is a great opportunity for your students to participate in a conference, get funding, and present interesting research. It's for both undergrad and grad students, so please let them know! This year, SIGDOC is holding its second annual competition for undergraduate and graduate students, the Student Research Competition (SRC). Students can present their research; network in Arlington, Virginia; and compete for the chance to win cash prizes (up to $500) sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery and Microsoft. Students also receive $500 in travel money to attend the conference. The website is open for proposals from now until February 8, 2016. Learn more about the SRC here: http://sigdoc.acm.org/conference/2016/student-research-competition/ and encourage students to submit their proposals at http://tinyurl.com/sigdocsrc If you have questions, feel free to email the SRC chair, Stephanie Vie, at ( Stephanie.Vie@ucf.edu). We hope you'll encourage your students to apply! -- dawn m. armfield frostburg state university SIGDOC'16 Conference Chair http://about.me/darmfield
