Dear Roderick Graham, On the CFP link, it says: "Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 500 CHF (Swiss Francs)." You have mentioned on your previous email that there isn't a fee for publishing in that journal. Is the APC something different? The journal Future Internet is accepting submissions for an issue on Digital Inequalities ( http://www.mdpi.com/journal/futureinternet/special_issues/digital-inequaliti...). This is the second edition of this special issue. 6 articles were published last year ( http://www.mdpi.com/journal/futureinternet/special_issues/digital-inequality ).
This issue will accept papers that focus on how social inequality is reproduced or mitigated online or through new technologies.
This is a good opportunity for both new and established scholars who are looking for a peer reviewed journal that has a quick turnaround (2 - 3 months). It is also an outlet for niche articles that explore social interaction online.
Future Internet is open access, and unlike most open access journals, there are no publication fees.
The deadline for manuscripts is August 31st, 2014.
