Hi all, As we start winding up things for IR12, I'm looking to help occupyseattle organizers connect with area researchers to hold a "Digital Media and Protest 101" teach-in next week? The goal: 60-90 minute teach-in the week of 17 October with a focus on internal and external communication strategies for the area #Occupy effort. There are several local community groups (a church and local union in particular) who are also interested in attending a "Digital Media and Protest 101" teach-in. If you are interested in participating in the teach-in or would like to contribute resources (syllabi, reading lists, student interns, gear) to it, will you email me directly (qcentral@indiana.edu) or to the list so that I can get a show of hands from folks interested in helping out. Many thanks and good to see/meet many of you at IR12. Best, Mary _______________________ On sabbatical until January 9, 2012 Mary L.
