I'm an avid user of the Open Source graphing tool called Gephi. It enables an interactive visual way to explore datasets. I've used the tool to analyze language and relationship between co-occurences of words appearing in content coming from social media. Here's an example of an analysis I published a few months ago: Hashing Out the GOP Race, decoding perceptions of party politics on Twitter Gilad On Apr 21, 2012, at 7:55 AM, Asimina Vasalou wrote:
Dear all,
I am putting together a state-of-the-art report on interactive visualisations of language. I am looking for examples of applications that visualise language for purposes of sense making, awareness, insight, informing action etc. If anyone has examples to share, I would be grateful if they can contact me.
Thank you! Mina
