Dear colleagues, I wanted to share a project proposal I have drafted for establishing a Media Lab focused on empowering cultural and creative industries in the Global South with generative AI capabilities. While I do not currently have the means to implement this lab myself, I hope this proposal document may serve as a useful starting point or source of ideas for anyone interested in establishing similar initiatives oriented towards empowering local creative communities with generative AI.
