Dear colleagues I am happy to invite you to the first monthly webinar of the 2025 series on "AI & Democracy" organised by the Chair "AI & Democracy", Florence School of Transnational Governance (European University Institute). The first webinar explores "Digital Identity Systems and AI: Implications for Democratic Rights", and is scheduled for Tuesday the 25th of February (1430-1515, Central European Time/Rome). It features Silvia Masiero (University of Oslo, author of the monograph "Unfair ID". Sage 2024) and Stephan Scheel (Leuphana University, PI of the ERC-funded project "Doing Digital Identities").
