For the Mobile chapter of our Networked book, we're looking for 2 kinds of pop culture examples from before the age of Mobile Comm/Info A "smart mob" example - i.e. one where a group of people could have solved a problem or prevented a disaster if they had only been able to coordinate a group solution -- using mobile phones or WiFi An "if only I had known' example where there is a bad outcome that could have been avoided with just-in-time information? Need it by Monday. Having fun with this before/after section -- already have other types of Before Mobile examples: North by Northwest Halloween (or is another slasher series better)? Rocky Horror Picture Show Ferris Buehler's Day Off Tony Hillerman novels (could use a more explicit detail from one here) Thanks, Barry Wellman _______________________________________________________________________ S.D.
