ESSSAT Network Expansion to the UK
(NB: Please respond to LHeynen@gmx.net)
In 1998 ESSSAT (the European Society for the Study of Science and Theology) established a network for new academics (doctoral and postdoctoral) in German-speaking countries who were working on a dissertation in the field of "Science and Theology" or "Science and Religious Studies". This resulted in the founding of the 'Internationales Wissenschaftsforum' in Heidelberg. Since its founding, IW has organized several well-attended workshops. Such a high response rate has encouraged us to move beyond German-speaking countries. We hope not only to enlarge this group but also to find out whether we could organize meetings and colloquia centered on specific topics of common interest. If you are a new academic with interests in this area, or if you know of any who might want to get involved with this initiative, could you please contact me at the email listed below?
Further information on ESSSAT can be obtained at:
Yours Sincerely, Lars Heynen
