I realized a tad late that some members of this list may very well be attending the American Sociological Association meeting in Anaheim this weekend. This gathering (organized by some graduate students) is informal and I'm sure the more the merrier.

A few of us young techno-focused researchers are organizing a "Happy Hour" gathering for all techno-interested folk planning to attend the ASA. Its my job to invite you!
We can chat research, lift our glasses together and hopefully come to know more of the folks working in the field.
Meet at the entrance to the hotel bar in the Hilton at 4:30pm on Sunday, August 19th. If you arrive a little later look for us inside. If discussion persists we may move on to Dinner elseware later.
