This is a friendly reminder that we are currently taking submissions for the 2018 SIGDOC Student Research Competition. The competition is open to graduate and undergraduate students alike. Submissions accepted until January 12th. To graduate and undergraduate students working in areas related to communication, writing and information design, please consider submitting a proposal for the 2018 Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Student Research Competition, sponsored by Microsoft. The student research competition is an annual ACM event open to undergraduate and graduate students. Students who submit winning proposals, in response the attached CFP, will be paid $500 in travel and registration expenses to give a poster presentation at the 2018 SIGDOC conference in Milwaukee, WI (August 3-5). Posters presented at the conference will be judged and winners may advance to a grand finals competition to be announced at a later date. The attached flyer gives an overview of the CFP. More information is available at the SIGDOC 2018 website ( https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsigdoc.acm....). The deadline for submission is January 12th, 2018.
