there are two groups that seem to be working on this in a major way, one is technical, the other is more social science oriented. The technical group is out of the eu and gnu known as freedevelopers, they are producing e-voting software amongst other things. the social science group is democracy-online or do-wire. Dear Air-L Readers!
I'm looking for contact with other researchers worldwide, who also work on the field of e-voting for exchange of interesting material and to stay up2date on current developments. Currently I write my thesis about e-Voting in the german-speaking countries Austria/Germany/Switzerland.
From the technical point of view I concentrate on e-voting systems using digital signatures and smart cards and the legal and organizational basis of e-voting.
So if anyone is interested on exchanging information please contact me at robert.krimmer (at) wu-wien.ac.at.
Thanks, Robert
