My co-author and I have a recently published piece in New Media and Society you may want to take a look at it. The data was collected before some of the specific technologies you mentioned were launched, but it does address some aspects of changing in socialization behaviors. Here's the citation: McMillan, S.J. and Morrison, M. (2006). Coming of Age with the Internet: A Qualitative Exploration of How the Internet Has Become an Integral Part of Young People's Lives. New Media and Society 8(1), 73-95. ________________________________________ Sally J. Or how they socialize differently than other generations? Many thanks!
