Feminist explorations and interactions on the internet and World Wide Web have opened up virtual spaces for women's resistance to political, economic and social inequality. The focus of this session is to explore how women use virtual spaces, or cyberspaces (including work in Information technology fields), to resist oppression. Topics can include but are not limited to: How do women utilize new cyberspaces? Is technology a tool of resistance for women or another place that oppresses women? What can new technologies offer women as (cyber)feminist tools?
