Dear AIR-L Colleagues, I am in the process of preparing for a graduate seminar for spring 2013 in social media theory and research, and would like to solicit suggestions and input from the community of AIR scholars. I anticipate three broad areas of foci in the seminar, which will comprise mainly of doctoral students in the College of Communications at the University of Kentucky: 1. theoretical foundations; 2. state-of-the-field research; 3. available social media analytics and tools. I would like welcome any suggestions for readings and sources in relation to these three topics. Feel free also to share your own recent research publications. I understand there may be colleagues who are interested in similar issues, and I will be happy to share the syllabus and whatever I decide to do eventually in this class. Please let me know if you would like to be kept in the loop. Thanks a bunch in advance! Cheers, Zixue Tai, Ph.D. & Associate Professor College of Communications and Information University of Kentucky
